The Outsource family raised $2,621 in donations for the Histiocytosis Association this quarter. Histiocytic disorders are a group of diseases that occur when there is an over-production of white blood cells known as histiocytes, which may lead to organ damage and tumor formation.
This is a rare condition, but one that we’ve become familiar with as Sam Jarvis – West Regional Manager, and his wife Alexis have learned that their newborn son Callum has Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). Callum is doing well and has a good prognosis, but it’s not a condition that gets a lot of funding or attention as it is so uncommon.
Below is a short video clip of our raffle drawing that donors were entered into. All the money raised will go directly to the Histiocytosis Association. Please click on this link to learn more about the condition or to donate directly to the organization.
