Outsource Expands To Austin

Outsource is pleased to announce the opening of our Austin office, the company’s 17th location nationwide and our 4th in Texas.

The office is led by native Texan and Regional Leader Blaine Monteau, who has been with Outsource for nearly 10 years and currently manages P&L for the Houston and San Antonio locations. The new location will be approximately 1000 sq. feet, with half of the space dedicated to training new technicians. We are currently looking to hire a Recruiter to focus exclusively on the Austin market.

Growth Opportunity in Austin

Outsource moved into Austin to take advantage of the city’s booming economy, rapid expansion, and the opportunity that the skilled labor gap provides. The city is home to some of the world’s biggest tech companies, including Tesla, Facebook, Samsung, Oracle, and Dell.

Skilled Cabling and Electrical Technicians

The new Austin location has the ability to recruit and train low voltage cabling and electrical technicians in order to create a viable talent pool of skilled talent to meet the high demands of a rapidly growing Austin market. Outsource specializes in training people looking to transition into a skilled trade and we offer the OSHA 10 course that covers job safety, health, as well as job site etiquette. Training is not only free, but we actually pay you for the time upon successful completion of the course. Trainees will also leave with a complete set of tools, including a tool pouch, a punch down tool, a multibit screwdriver, snips, sharpie, electrical tape, and PPE (hard hat, safety gloves, safety glasses, and safety vest).

Ready To Deliver Talent

Austin will provide the same level of service and talent that our clients have come to expect from Outsource. We offer same day account set up, our work is guaranteed on every placement, and we deliver on demand as early as the next day.

Austin’s Booming Expansion Producing Jobs

The Austin market is experiencing extremely rapid growth and is now the #1 destination for commercial real estate investment. Considered a “Boom Town”, with tech giants like Tesla, Oracle, Dell, IBM and Samsung all establishing headquarters and large campuses there, the area has become a desirable landing spot for individuals and families alike due to relative to the number of construction permits, employee pay rates, and cost of living.

Skilled Labor in Need

The cities expansion is happening all over town with large projects like Tesla and Oracle in the South and IBM in the North. The tech boom and large commercial building expansion has provided ample opportunity for workers in skilled trades including Electrical, Structured Cabling, Security and Fire Alarm, A/V, and HVAC Controls. The skilled labor shortage is the biggest obstacle to projects being completed. Most of the companies looking for skilled labor help, are now opening their doors to entry-level candidates due to the shortage. With this also comes higher entry-level pay wages and increased opportunity for experienced workers who want to climb the ladder fast.

Job Opportunities for Electricians and Low Voltage Technicians

With tech expansion driving the economy, growth is the continued theme for the Austin market for years to come. This growth is presenting a wide variety of job opportunities in construction, namely jobs for Apprentice Electricians and Journeyman Electricians as well as Low Voltage trades, like Structured Cable Technicians, Data Center Technicians, Security and Fire Alarm Technicians, and Low Voltage Installers.
