The San Francisco office opened in 2000, and celebrates its 15th Anniversary this year. The roots of the branch run deep, beginning the day Shawn Dale started working out of his apartment, running Telecommunication sales with the help of a single Recruiter. Today, Shawn is the national VP of Sales and the Director of National Accounts where he works with the company’s Business Development Managers across the country to strengthen existing relationships and capture new business.

Shawn helped build a strong regional team that has grown to eleven employees: four Account Managers, four Recruiters, an Operations Analyst, and a Field Coordinator. Together, they provide skilled technicians and support to a variety of sectors across the wiring industry, including electrical, audio/visual, security, fire alarm, structured cabling, and integration.

The San Francisco team follows the motto “work hard, play hard” and is comprised of a group of focused, motivated, and dedicated individuals who are consistently ranked at the top of Outsource’s sales and recruiting charts. Paul Baldaccini, who will celebrate his 10th Anniversary with the company in 2015, has been the top Account Manager for several years. Cameron Crivello is consistently rated as a leading Outsource Recruiter.

Outsource’s San Francisco branch is located on the San Francisco Bay and is considered to be one of the company’s most beautiful offices. It is only minutes away from Downtown and a short drive to Silicon Valley and the California wine country. The team has the privilege of working in the city that Bloomberg BusinessWeek designated ‘The Best City in America’ in 2012, offering beautiful beaches, year round cultural events and concerts, and some of the best restaurants and bars in the Unites States.

Team building is an important goal of the San Francisco office, which often rewards high sales numbers with employee breakfasts and company happy hours. Birthdays are an important part of office life, and are celebrated with cake and lunch. The team enjoys spending time together outside of work, so karaoke in the city, dinner by the water in Half Moon Bay, and happy hour in Pacifica are common occurrences. Outsource also understands the support of family members and significant others, which we invite to participate in company activities. Account Manager Holly Andrews, who will be celebrating her 5th Anniversary with the company this year, says, ”Like the city of San Francisco, our team is dynamic and fun, which makes for an energetic atmosphere in the office.”

New opportunities are always available. For more information, please call us toll free at 866-284-1693. Outsource is located at 400 Oyster Point Blvd., Suite 539, San Francisco, CA, 94080.

Outsource kicked off a new tradition by inviting offices across the United States to participate in a potluck lunch in celebration of Thanksgiving. To commemorate the event, we asked that each team submit photographs of their lunch and to let us know how it went. Offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Denver, Houston, San Francisco, New York City, Phoenix, Seattle, and Austin all pulled together and it sounds like everyone had a blast (including a technician candidate in San Francisco who timed his interview just right).

Here are a few highlights (some are hilarious). It speaks volumes about a company whose team members take the time to come together all across the country, celebrate at work, and offer up their experiences for everyone to share.

Houston-ThanksgivingHouston

In Houston we had a wonderful time. Everyone really put an effort in and we had what felt like a real Thanksgiving lunch. It was traditional food such as stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potations, green bean casserole, a variety of pies, cornbread and rolls, and macaroni and cheese. Every person put thought into what we were bringing and made it a great time. We even listened to Christmas music, joked around and spoke about what we were thankful for.

San Francisco ThanksgivingSan Francisco

Our potluck was delicious! Everyone pitched in and brought some great food. We have turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, creamed corn, cranberry and cornbread. For dessert we had pies and ice cream. We all hung out in our conference room and enjoyed having lunch as a team.

We even had a technician here for an interview that joined in briefly. He was pretty impressed with the process as a whole and got a kick out of the fact that we offered him lunch. It was awesome spending time with everyone and enjoying good food and good company.

Dallas ThanksgivingDallas

We had our potluck last Friday with great results. Almost everyone pitched in, resulting in too much food and some tryptophan induced sleepiness in the afternoon (but we fought through, and our productivity was not diminished!). Some highlights were homemade corn pudding by Caroline Robinson and too many delicious desserts to begin to count. In true Texas spirit, we even had chips & salsa.

We’re thankful for having a great company, a great office, a great team, and maybe most importantly a great deal of coffee in our cupboards.

New York ThanksgivingNew York

Here is the tale of a New York Thanksgiving:
We laughed, we cried (joyfully), and came together as a work family. Brett ruined a great pair of gloves carrying the food, but actually one might say he enhanced them with the smell of turkey.

We completed our meal and Joe bravely carried the extra tray of turkey home feeding one very lucky homeless man with it…and himself, too.

Denver ThanksgivingDenver

With smiles on their faces, and bundles of joyful Thanksgiving side dishes held tenderly in their arms, you could tell that the day was going to be special right from the beginning. The smell of a delicious Thanksgiving meal permeated the office as the day moved along and eager mouths began to salivate. Dishes were heated up and as we set the tablecloth and plastic dishware on the table, I felt like I really was with family, but not just any family: my Outsource family.

Mark 11/28/2014 on your calendars as the day a new tradition was born!

San Francisco Office Hosts Picnic for Outsource Technicians and Their Families

photo1What started out as a rainy Saturday turned into a beautiful day for a picnic and an opportunity for Outsource to show its appreciation for our dedicated Technicians as the San Francisco office hosted a picnic for Techs and their families. The event was held this past Saturday, October 25th, at the Orange Memorial Park’s Eucalyptus Shelter in South San Francisco and featured a giant spread of barbecue from local favorite Dickey’s Barbecue.

Because much of the work our Techs do is remote, this was chance to bring them together with the San Francisco Office and celebrate everyone’s hard work. A little rain earlier in the day did nothing to dampen the spirits of those who attended, as it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon to relax with some fantastic food while kids played Frisbee and created sidewalk art. The picnic proved to be the perfect opportunity for the Outsource Team to spend time with the Techs, get to know their families, and to thank them for being such a big part of the company.

From all reports, the event was a blast and Holly Andrews, who works as an Account Manager in the San Francisco office, says, “It was great to meet the families of the guys that work so hard to make Outsource a success. Also, hearing how much they appreciate Outsource was a huge bonus.” Outsource prides itself on the culture it has created and welcomes opportunities to recognize the efforts of the company employees and technicians. In addition to events like the office picnic, we have a super perks program that gives Outsource employees access to great discounts on local sporting events, entertainment, services, shopping and food & drink.

Along with Holly, VP of Sales Shawn Dale, Senior Account Executive Paul Baldaccini, as well as Recruiters Kelly Simon, Jessie Adams and Cameron Crivello represented Outsource. Also in attendance were Shawn’s wife and two children, Holly’s daughter, and Cameron’s girlfriend. Thanks to our hard-working Technicians, their families, and everyone who braved the weather. We look forward to doing it again soon!

The Outsource booth was busy and we met a lot of great people at the show.

The 2013 BICSI Fall Conference and Expo was a huge success for Outsource. Held in Las Vegas Sept 15-19, the conference had over 3,800 attendees from the cabling installation and wired systems industry. The Fall and Winter BICSI conferences are a great opportunity for us to meet with new customers, and to catch up with our established clients too. We never miss a BICSI show and were Bronze level sponsors of the Fall conference.

This year we sent a team of nine Business Development Managers along with Shawn Dale, our Director of National Accounts, and Steve Ebenhack, our VP of Sales. Outsource hosted several happy hour get togethers during the week, and we thank everyone that stopped by the booth to say hello or who came out to our after hours events.

We’ll of course be back at the Winter 2014 BICSI show, Feb 2-6 in Orlando, FL. If you want to get free tickets for the Winter Expo, please contact Steve Ebenhack at steve@outsource.net
