Human Resources Assistant

Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities:
- Collect and help administer candidate paperwork and onboarding
- Enter, organize, and keep record of direct deposit authorizations, W4 forms, I9 documentation, and other onboarding documents
- Perform data entry
- Interface with internal and external employees to answer questions and follow up while maintaining high levels of customer service both in-person and over the phone
- Utilize our internal database and onboarding resources daily
- Maintain accurate and complete employee personnel files
- Perform administrative tasks, as needed (i.e. managing inventory, ordering office supplies and marketing materials, answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating FedEx/UPS shipments, etc.)
- Assist the Human Resources Department when needed
- Other duties may be assigned as needed while maintaining high levels of customer service both in-person and over the phone
- Coordinate with Sales and Recruiting team to resolve payroll issues and reporting errors
- Utilize our internal database, payroll system, and Microsoft Suite products
- Making phone calls and fielding incoming phone calls from various government agencies, internal and external employees, and clients to gather information and/or assist with issue resolution
- Assist various departments when needed including payroll and accounting
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Human Resources Assistant Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in an office setting or in a customer service role is a huge plus
- Recent experience using Microsoft Excel (beginner’s level)
- Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy in a Windows environment including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of urgency and a “willing to” attitude
- Team player with an ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree a huge plus
