Mid October marked the arrival of a new group of employees at Outsource corporate headquarters for Foundation Training. And as is custom, we kicked off the 10 day training with a happy hour mixer with the corporate staff (see pictures). Foundation Training is a immersion program that brings new hires up to speed on all things Outsource; what we do, how we do it, and how to succeed here. We want our new employees to get the skills they need to get right into their roles and feeling comfortable with their duties and goals. The introductory period is a great opportunity for everyone to learn, ask any questions that come to mind, and work the kinks out before we put them in place with their teams.
This class featured five new members of the Outsource family: Casey Merriman from the New York office, Jessie Adams from San Francisco, Matthew Guevara and Mariela Alvarez from our Washington, D.C. branch, and Nick Ellis from Phoenix. The training was helmed by our Talent Acquisition Manager Amanda Delzell, in conjunction with our Director of Staffing Jenny Zhao. In addition to developing fundamental skills, shadowing other employees and working on role playing exercises, the trainees also got to spend time with CEO John Lowell, and East Coast Regional Manager Carl Lechner, who was also at corporate for a series of meetings.
We welcome this new class to Outsource, and we know you’re prepared for success!
The Veterans: Amanda Delzell (Talent Acquisition Manager) with Victoria Esna (Northeast Territory Manager) and Tracey Burchfield (Recruiter, Atlanta).
Savannah Johnson (Director of Human Resources), Erika Chevez (Human Resources Generalist) and new hire Nick Ellis. Tracey Burchfield (Regional Fulfillment Manager, Atlanta) with new hire Matthew Guevara and Thomas Marks (Recruiter, Los Angeles).
