Outsource Opens Cincinnati Office and Increases Reach in the Midwest

Outsource expanded its reach in the Midwestern U.S. market with the opening of its Cincinnati, Ohio office on October 1st, 2014. This is the 19th Outsource location in the U.S. and further solidifies the company’s national reputation as a leader in the staffing industry. Outsource continues to grow its structured cabling, electrical and integration staffing business in the Midwest since establishing an initial presence in Chicago. Today, the company is in a better position that ever to serve the needs of area businesses working in the wiring and structured cable industries, electrical, fire alarm, and security industries.

The idea to expand into Cincinnati was presented by Account Manager Brian Thomas, who has been with Outsource since August 2013, and who received his training in Chicago. Further internal research supported Brian’s suggestion and showed that Ohio’s economy continues to grow and that more positive growth is expected in the region. Research also revealed that many regional companies are headquartered in Ohio and that the decisions made there affect the entire region, including Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, and as far east as New York.

Because he was already spending a good bit of time between Chicago and Cincinnati, the final decision was made to have Brian relocate permanently to Cincinnati and establish a foothold for the company in Ohio. Shawn Dale and Sam Jarvis acted quickly in securing a space for Brian, The office opened on October 1st in the Regus Suites, located at 201 East Fifth Street, Suite 1900, right in the heart of Cincinnati’s central business district.

It helps that Cincinnati is Brian’s hometown, which he sees as a major advantage over his competitors. He says, “Having a local presence in Ohio is key because people in the Midwest like to ‘buy local.’ They are familiar with the services Outsource provides and they really like that our company specializes in the wired systems industry.”

Brian will initially focus Ohio’s leading markets, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus, with a future goal of expanding into Indianapolis and Louisville, which are located only a few hours away. When asked about the Ohio market, Brian said, “There is a lot of interest from clients and there are a lot of new businesses for Outsource to focus on.”
