Paul Baldaccini works out of the San Francisco office and is one of Outsource’s most experienced Account Managers. In 2016, Paul will be celebrating his 10th year with the company, where he began as a recruiter before quickly rising to the role of business development manager. When Paul started at Outsource, the company had 60 employees and offices in two states: California and Arizona. Today, the company has 16 offices in 10 states nationwide and has nearly tripled its number of employees.
Looking back on it, he says, “It’s been an incredible journey to get from where I started to where I am today. I’ve grown into a better salesman because the company allowed me to utilize my natural talent and abilities while helping me strengthen the skills that I wanted to develop. I feel that working at Outsource has made me into a better person overall.”
Paul graduated San Diego State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. He was close to accepting a position at one of the country’s leading financial institutions when he heard about Outsource and interviewed with Shawn Dale in the San Francisco office.
“I didn’t know anything about recruiting or the staffing business, but when Shawn told me how it worked and explained the business model, I was hooked.”
Paul says that he took the position at Outsource because he wanted to be in sales and that Outsource allowed him to get into sales quickly. “I’m naturally competitive, I wanted to work in a competitive environment, and I’m financially driven, so Outsource was the perfect fit. I love finding work for people and really got a thrill out of watching my name climb up the weekly sales report.”
When Shawn Dale landed a big electrical account in San Francisco, opening up the industry in Paul’s market, he recognized this as an opportunity to excel. Outsource CEO John Lowell flew up to the San Francisco and asked Paul what he wanted to do and where he wanted to go in the company. Paul said that he saw a lot of potential in the electrical side of the business and John agreed to let him focus on this area. Today, Paul runs the electrical division in San Francisco.
“Outsource is a great company because it’s a place where anyone who really wants to climb to the top, will climb to the top. You have to be organized, stay disciplined, and be the person who puts in the extra time and goes the extra mile. But if you follow the plan and listen to the executives, you will succeed.”
“This is the best work environment I’ve ever experienced. It has allowed my natural skills to blossom, while teaching me how to harness my passion for sales. I’ve become a better manager, learned how to work with recruiters, customers, and how to properly motivate my team. I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished as a company.”
Today, he still recalls an early manager training session that he attended in Los Angeles. “I remember the company had arranged for a group of guest speakers to come in and talk with us. When they were finished, John Lowell came in and said, “The sky is the limit at Outsource. I’m serious. It you put the work into it, there’s no limit to how successful you can be.””
“I still remember this,” Paul says, “because he was right.”
Paul specializes in providing staffing solutions to C-7 and C-10 contractors and also brings experience working with security systems integrators. When he’s not in the office, Paul enjoys surfing, hunting, travelling, and spending time with his wife and their 15 month-old son.

Because of her remarkable success in the Chicago market, Smita Abraham is the latest high achieving and exceptionally dedicated member of the Outsource team to be profiled in our Employee Spotlight.
Outsource continues to thrive as the leading staffing company dedicated exclusively to the wired services industry. We are seeing record sales, tremendous growth, and some of the largest training classes in the history of the company. As a result, Outsource is pleased to announce the expansion and relocation of three of our largest offices: Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and our Corporate Headquarters in Los Angeles.
It features a conference room, kitchen, two private offices, and a separate fax/printing area, with recruiting and account management each having a unique section dedicated to its business. The office is newly renovated and there is a café, restaurant, and gym located in the building. It is also conveniently located near a variety of restaurants, prime shopping, and the Metro subway line.
It is directly accessible from anywhere in the region and also offers a dedicated shuttle to the nearby Perimeter MARTA station for easy access to Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.
COO Lance Shiring says, “It’s easy to overlook how one’s work environment impacts attitude and productivity. Typically, it doesn’t resonate until the décor is changed, furniture is updated, or an actual office move occurs. I can say without a doubt that we needed such a change for the Corporate office and we’re very excited to be able to move everyone into a beautiful new space. The design, just like that of the new D.C. and Atlanta offices, results in bright workspaces that are clean, uncluttered, and modern. We look forward to incorporating this modern style into our other branches and establishing a unique Outsource aesthetic that everyone recognizes, no matter which office you visit.”
Outsource continues our monthly Employee Spotlight series by profiling a high achieving and exceptionally dedicated member of the Outsource team. Because of his remarkable success in the Houston and Los Angeles markets, we are proud to select Blaine Monteau for our May profile.
Starting at the beginning of 2015, Outsource formed a Volunteer Committee to help organize and plan volunteer events at branches across the country. The Q1 charity is Habitat for Humanity International, which was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. Habitat for Humanity is a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing and the organization has built or repaired over 1 million homes, serving more than 5 million people worldwide. Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing. Churches, community groups and others have joined together to successfully tackle a significant social problem―decent housing for all.
On March 7th, five representatives from the Outsource branch in Dallas met at Habitat ReStore for a day of organizing, rearranging, and “just getting dirty and having fun helping the community” according to Operations Analyst Christopher Trevino. The store was buzzing and, for an organization that relies heavily on volunteers, everyone’s efforts were greatly appreciated. Recruiter Jasmine Christopher said, “It was my first time experiencing Habitat for Humanity ReStore and I have to say that it was a lot of fun!”
Recruiter Lexi Neste added, “It’s a great place to buy discounted, recycled building materials and home items, plus it helps a lot of people who are less fortunate.” Leonard Bune, who works as a Payroll Compliance Administrator, even gained some insight into the sales world with the help from his ReStore foreman: “Ultimately, they wanted product that we could put together in minutes and place on the showroom area for sale as quickly as possible.” Leonard took the advice to heart and, by the end of the day, helped sell a faux leather sofa, a bathroom sink cabinet, and a steel door.
Like Google, AIG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and many of the world’s leading companies, Outsource understands the benefit of rewarding its top performers. Each year, the company holds its annual rewards trip. This year the trip was in Cancun, Mexico at the exclusive Hyatt Zilara, which serves as a stunning backdrop for everyone to relax, unwind, and reflect on their accomplishments.
Jenny Zhao, who is Dallas’ Regional Director of Operations, has been on the trip many times and looks forward to it every year. She says, “You’re in a place where everyone there cares about their job and what they do. You know you’re going to see the same, top people every year. It’s like the annual Outsource family reunion.”
“I love the yearly trip to Cancun,” John said. “It gives me a chance to see everyone in a very relaxing setting where I can truly thank them for all that they do for the company. I’m very proud of these people and honored that they have chosen to pursue their career with Outsource.”
The 2015 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition proved to be an even bigger success than last year for Outsource, who not only exhibited at the show, but was also one of the exhibition’s leading Sponsors. The company also hosted a Happy Hour reception on the last night of the event that was well attended.

2014 proved to be a banner growth year for Outsource and the company set a Q1 emphasis to hire new personnel and promote recruiters into sales roles. As a result of this tremendous growth, Outsource is proud to announce that this February, the company hosted its largest Foundation Training class ever. Eleven employees, all recent Outsource hires, participated in the weeklong course at corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. The training class was run by Recruitment Operations Manager Danny Brawer and consisted of recruiters from offices in Phoenix, Austin, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Tampa, and New York City.
February got off to a fast start at Outsource, which hosted one of its largest sales training sessions to date. Six employees, all recently promoted into Account Manager and Outside Sales positions, participated in the weeklong course of orientation and training at corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. “A big part of Outsource’s success can be attributed to the fact that our team members consistently provide an exceptional level of service to our clients, and that starts right here at the Sales training,” Vice President of Sales Sam Jarvis said. “We focus on making sure every person on our new Sales team walks out of here with a deep understanding of our clients’ business needs and how Outsource is uniquely able to address them.”
